About Us

A Berlin-based non-profit empowering communities through renewable energy, education, climate action, and sustainable development in Germany, Cameroon, and beyond.

Kendum Solar Rise e.V.
Who We Are

Kendum Solar Rise e.V. is a non-profit, non-governmental organization based in Berlin, founded in 2020 by professionals and volunteers with a migrant background committed to advancing renewable energy, education, climate action, and sustainable development.

We work with migrant communities in Germany and partner with local organizations and communities in Cameroon to develop practical, community-led solutions that improve livelihoods and build resilience. Our work spans renewable energy, education, nature conservation, humanitarian support, and development cooperation.

At Kendum Solar Rise, we believe that sustainable development begins with empowered people and strong communities — creating opportunities for individuals, especially young people and women, to acquire knowledge, develop skills, and become active contributors to a greener, more inclusive future.

Our projects bridge expertise between the diaspora and local communities, fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange. Kendum Solar Rise e.V. is more than an organization — we are a platform for collaboration, innovation, and sustainable change.
