At Kendum Solar Rise e.V., we harness the power of solar energy to improve lives, strengthen communities, and promote sustainable development — providing clean, reliable energy that enhances access to education, clean water, and economic opportunity.
Our 2023 flagship project, supported by GIZ, brought solar electrification and a clean water supply to the Presbyterian Primary and Nursery School in Bakoko, Douala, Cameroon — and trained local technicians to sustain it. Our approach combines renewable energy with capacity building by:
- Installing solar energy systems for schools and community facilities.
- Training local technicians in solar PV installation and maintenance.
- Improving access to reliable electricity and clean water.
- Contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
